Our Grants
To date, the North Yard Community Trust has distributed over £915,400 to more than 126 local projects.
The Trust funds projects that benefit people living in the North Yard Community Trust area. Projects from a wide range of categories can be supported including improving public spaces, youth facilities, public health schemes, well-being initiatives, energy efficiency initiatives, improving underused land, sustainable transport, restoration of historic buildings and regeneration projects.
How to Apply
We make it really easy to apply, just follow the three simple steps below…
1. Check you meet our guidelines
Anyone in Plymouth can apply; however, the project must benefit the communities of Barne Barton, Kings Tamerton, St Budeaux, Keyham and parts of Weston Mill (See Map).
2. Gather supporting evidence
The Trust will look for evidence on why your project is needed, what support you have for your project and how your project will benefit the communities of the NYCT area.
3. Complete our application process
Download the grant application pack which contains all the information you need to apply.
Community Grant
This grant is for organisations looking for £500 or less of funding for their project. This grant can be applied for up to three times per year
Small Grant
This grant is for organisations looking for up to £5,000 of funding for their project.
General Grant
This grant is for organisations looking for more than £5,000 of funding for their project.
Multi Year Grant
This grant is for organisations looking for up to 3 years of funding for their project.
Schools Grant
This grant is for educational organisations looking funding for their project.
